A Recent All in one and laptop upgrade
SSD upgrade with 5 years warranty, 8GB of additional memory (RAM) with life time warranty and Trend Micro antivirus installed. (all name labels removed during photos for clients privacy)
This laptops trackpad had stopped working.
This client advised that her son had done absolutely everything he could think of and still the laptops trackpad would not work. Safe to say that the laptop left in working order and this client very happy! (all name labels removed during photos for clients privacy)
CPU cooler upgrade and total overhaul of cable management
Clients son got this second hand gaming rig free as present. Found that the prior owner had taken the cooler (presumably carried across to the next build) and replaced it with the stock AMD cooler. As the cpu power output was to much for the stock cooler to handle, this clients son quickly ran into thermal issues. Upgraded the cooler to resolve thermal issues and completely re managed all internal cables cleaning up the build.
Suspected Faulty Power Supply / Motherboard
This machine came to me in pretty rough shape. The client suspected a faulty power supply / motherboard as it was turning off nearly the second it was turned on and then looping. On off, on off.. Picked up the machine, quickly isolated and diagnosed the fault as the left hand side memory module housings causing a short. (you will see this is no ordinary motherboard - 8 DIMM slots!) Luckily the right hand side still had 4 intact and working DIMM slots, meaning a simple swap out and the machine was back up and running and returned the same day. Woohoo! No faulty 1000 watt power supply or CPU. All parts were re-assembled and all cables reconnected and professionally managed ensuring that the machine was returned to the highest standard. Since a motherboard replacement was not a desired outcome, hopefully the board continues to hold up! (all name labels removed during photos for clients privacy)
